Firefox Browsing History

DODO -
 DODO -
Hello,

I'm trying to retrieve a browsing history using this operation:
file:///C:/Users/user name/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles

I arrive at a place where I see 2 folders and inside those folders, there are other folders and files (quite a few, actually!) but I don't understand what the browsing history is and how I can see or restore it from this.
In which folder(s) can I find Firefox history?
In tutorials, they say that by doing this we get the history, but I don't see how we can view the history (for me, history means the names of the sites, etc.) they seem to say that we even have the dates.... so I'm really confused..
Thank you for your help please

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 96.0

Hello,

Why not search directly in Firefox?

Otherwise => https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/profils-la-ou-firefox-conserve-donnees-utilisateur

How do you open the sqlite file? If I double click on it, is it risky?

Hello @DODO,

If you want to check your history, use the history menu (shortcut
CTRL+H
): https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/historique-navigation-firefox

If you want to see what Firefox stores in your profile (especially your history, in the file
places.sqlite
), follow Mozilla's help: https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/profils-la-ou-firefox-conserve-donnees-utilisateur

If you want to export your profile for later recovery, here’s how to do it: https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/recuperer-donnees-importantes-ancien-profil

Hello,
The operation you mentioned corresponds to your profile where your bookmarks, passwords, etc. are saved... https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/profils-la-ou-firefox-conserve-donnees-utilisateur?redirectslug=Profils+utilisateurs&redirectlocale=fr

Rather search on this forum... https://openclassrooms.com/forum/sujet/historique-firefox-33487 You will find your answer.

Hello,

Where can I find the Firefox history?

If you haven't deleted or cleared the cache and history in Firefox:

On the toolbar click on History--►Show History

The Firefox library displays the history.
In the screenshot below, there is only ''Today''
For the simple reason that I automatically delete the history, but especially the cookies when closing Firefox.
So if you haven't deleted anything, you should see previous dates like ''Yesterday'' for example or directly the date.

The ''Import and Backup'' section allows you to restore lost or deleted bookmarks (keeps the last fifteen saved).

Also check My Activity if you have a Google account, a Gmail account for example.

Also see Task View with W10 (Timeline).
(Show the Active Apps button)

This displays the activity history all the time (unless disabled)
