Hello, I recently built a new PC.
But while installing all the drivers, I can’t hear any sound from my headset; it’s not detected by my PC.
I have installed the Realtek drivers from the official site of my motherboard: Asus TUF B550 Gaming Plus WiFi
but the driver doesn’t work and doesn’t appear in the Device Manager, under audio, video and game controllers.
I also checked in the BIOS and the HD Audio Azalia codec is indeed enabled.
Does anyone have a solution to my problem?
Thank you in advance.

Mark it as resolved if your issue is fixed. -
All my drivers are already up to date.
And the application cannot find the Realtek driver.-
try with " Drivers cloud "

This motherboard is equipped with a Realtek ALC S1200A sound chipset. Check if it is visible in the Device Manager under the Audio, video and game controllers section.

Same here, actually I have the feeling that the audio chipset on my motherboard isn't working....

In Audio, Video and Game Controllers I see 7.1 surround (for my Razer headset)
and Nvidia High Definition Audio. Realtek does not appear there even though it is installed
and the chipset is not visible. -
The 7.1 should be the Realtek ALC S1200A sound chipset. Do you have the Speakers icon in the notification area? If so, right-click on it. Then click on Sound and then click on Playback and let us know what is present in the window that opens.

I have 7.1 surround sound speakers from Razer
and I have my TV (my screen) Nvidia High Definition Audio.-

If the sound is coming from your TV, it means that the audio from your graphics card is being used and not the sound chipset of the motherboard. If you want your headphones or speakers (if you have them) to be used, you must disable the audio from your graphics card. Right-click on it and click on Disable.

Yes, I do have a section for other devices with "Unknown device" marked inside.
And I do have the High Definition Audio controller. -
Try this driver --> Chipset
Unzip it
Run setup.exe
----------------------------------------------------------------
Give the device identification number of the unknown device
Look at this --> Find the identification number of a device
Post the number in your next message.
-
Right-click on the device
Uninstall
Check --> remove the device
Uninstall
Restart and see what happens in the device manager

Thanks anyway for your help!
I'll try to do the repair, and if not, I'll buy a sound card. -
New PC, so going back to the seller, it’s under warranty.
