Hello,
I can't enable a secure DNS; here's the message in my browser settings under privacy and security: This setting is disabled on managed browsers.
I have the latest version and resetting it doesn't change anything. I'm on Windows 7, and I have another PC with Windows 7 where it works. I find that
The DNS servers from ISPs are not always the fastest or most reliable, and I've personally noticed that secure DNS are faster.
Would the solution be to reinstall Google Chrome, but I don't want to lose my bookmarks, MP, and extensions? I have 2 other PCs where it works!
I look forward to solutions and thank you for your help as soon as possible.
See you soon

Windows 7
Chrome 97.0.4692.71

Hello,
The antivirus or a security suite may trigger the message ''This setting is disabled on managed browsers''.
Avast for example.
Disable QUIC/HTTP3 scanning.
Before for example uninstalling with Revo (or resetting Google Chrome which you have already done).
Make a backup with ==► Hekasoft Backup & Restore
Or also:
==► Export Chrome bookmarks
See if importing them into another browser or using synchronization with your smartphone for example.
==► Export saved passwords in Chrome
==► Backup a Chrome extension
==► Backup a user profile under Google Chrome
==► Create multiple Chrome profiles for the same user
If the problem persists post the reports FRST
