TCL TV and TCL soundbar

Hello, I have a TCL 8132 series soundbar and a TCL Android TV, but I can't get them to work properly together. To get enough sound, I have to turn the volume almost all the way up and mute my TV; otherwise, I get an echo. Do you have a solution?

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 15.2

    Hello,
    If connected via optical cable, there is a setting to configure in the TV audio menu, check "external speakers" or something like that.
    For the echo, it is caused by a delay due to the optical connection and it is adjustable, see menu

      Thank you for your response,
      The problem is that in the settings I cannot select optical output or even external speaker; I do not have that option.

    Have you tried pressing the settings button -> gear icon above the up arrow on the remote

      Yes, and then I looked in the entire "sound" tab but I can't find it
      I can choose to set the audio output to auto or PCM but not to optical.
