Hello
Happy New Year 2022 to the community. Just a heads up, I am completely new to network cabling. I'm trying to get the ethernet sockets installed in the house working before the purchase. All the videos I find on the internet mention the presence of a "Green; white green" pair, but my cable has pairs like: "Pink - blue, Yellow - orange, Purple - brown, and Gray - white." I found a photo explaining the wiring, I tried to replicate the same thing on both the panel and the socket, but nothing works. Can someone help me?
Best regards
Theo

    OK,
you're already on the right forum,
have you read the other discussions there?
We've already talked a lot about PTT298 cables in RJ45, I think everything has been said.
You need to check the quality of your connections if you have wall sockets, if you think the order of the wires is correct.
I don't know what diagram you saw, but this one is the correct one:

    After that,
to go further, you might need an RJ45 cable tester if a visual inspection isn't enough to troubleshoot.
