We just got the Freebox Pop and would like to know how to retrieve the recording on the computer, thank you and have a good evening.

Good evening,
In principle, recordings made with a box are in a "proprietary" format and can only be played on the device that recorded them.

Thank you for getting back to us, but first, we have Freebox Révolution that we were able to retrieve, not Freebox Pop.

  Can you see it in Completed recordings in Freebox OS?
  
  If yes, what's preventing you from retrieving it?
  
  The POP doesn't have an internal hard drive like the Revolution for recordings
  
  Have you activated the 100h Cloud in the player settings or have you connected a USB stick or an external drive to the box?

Hi kaumune,

Thank you for getting back to us. Yes, we believe we have already activated it; we can watch on TV but not on the computer like Revolution. If we spend Christmas with family, we can watch there without needing to go back home.
However, we entered the key but there’s nothing, strange!

We see the key because we have already listened to the music on the key.

We connect to the black box and the Freebox Server still shows no disk like in the photo.

Here is connected via Freebox White Server Box . . .

But it needs to be formatted otherwise it will have problems.
The files inside do not work, we can only see the file names.
On the other hand, if we connect to the Freebox POP Black Box we can view everything.
But the sound is always in Dolby Digital 5.1, no DTS HD 7.1 or Dolby Atmos and no others either!!
Yet in Freebox POP there are plenty of sound formats!!

  I don't know what else to tell you, I don't know what you're doing, I don't understand what you're writing (format?? Format what?? Why??) you don't answer the questions, your screenshot is useless, we can't see any recordings
  
  On mine, it works without any problem both in direct playback and by downloading (as you requested would like to know how to retrieve the recording on the Computer) the files on my PC

When you plug in the key, it asks you to format it, otherwise there will be problems. Otherwise, it's good, the problem is solved, and thanks again, have a nice day.
