Two Excel tables on the same page, freeze one.

Hello,

On an Excel sheet, I have two tables. The one on the left is a long list of all my files (1000+) and the one on the right retrieves the unfinished files from my left table to create a short list (±15).

I used to work solely with the left table, but it's easier to have a second table that "finds" all my unfinished files and sorts them by date.

I would like to find a way to "freeze" my small table on the right so that, no matter which row I'm in the left table, I always have the right table in view.

The "split" tool seems to be the solution, but I can't seem to get just a vertical separation.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

Hello,
Try to select the line that follows the last data row of the right table and then click on Split

It works well for my right table, but the problem is that the top of my left table is also frozen.

Hello,
One solution is to open a new window where you can view the table on the right and work on the workbook on the left.

Hello,

Several of us are consulting and modifying this file multiple times a day, and I would have preferred a more ''instantaneous'' layout.

Thank you, it is still a solution that works!
