Using an old smartphone or tablet as a hands-free kit with an app?

Hello,
Here's my problem, I have an Xperia compact that's a bit "old" but still working well. Its only issue is that it no longer reads SIM cards.
I got another phone, an Asus Zenfone, which is not in great condition and especially the microphone doesn't work properly :(
So I'm sharing a connection on the Xperia to use Signal and call with a good microphone.

I would like to install an application on the Xperia to "turn it into a Bluetooth headset." Is that possible? Does it exist?

I like having two phones; I have very few apps on the first one (to keep it clean), and when I want to be free from notifications, I disable the connection sharing. Being able to take calls via Bluetooth on the Xperia or even send a text message would be a real plus.

Thanks for your responses! Have a great day everyone :)

    Hello,

You're not making it easy for yourself, are you? x)
You need to test; there are apps on the Play Store that seem to match by searching for "mic to speaker," "mic to bluetooth," or simply "micro to bluetooth." For example:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AwamiSolution.bluetoothmicloudspeaker&hl=fr&gl=US
Let's see if it works between two phones...

    Best regards.

I found a mysms app to send SMS from a tablet, but unfortunately the tablet version cannot be installed on a smartphone and so I cannot sync, there are 2 different applications, one for tablet and one for smartphone.
If anyone knows of similar apps?

I found a mysms application to send SMS from a tablet, but unfortunately I cannot synchronize 2 devices. There is also mightytext, but I cannot install the tablet version (which seems necessary) on the phone.

It works via wifi but I haven't found anything regarding Bluetooth, which is a shame because I have the impression that it doesn't exist; it might not be possible?

If anyone knows similar applications or can synchronize correctly with one of these two applications.

Thank you, have a good day!
