Need help optimizing my Intel 82579V Gigabit network card on Windows 10.

Hello :)

I would like your help to optimize my network card.
As a happy owner of a Fiber connection for a short time, I've noticed that my line is not being fully utilized with my network card on Windows 10.

On Windows 10 with an Nperf test


And Nperf under Ubuntu liveCD


Yet on Windows 10, my network card is recognized as a 1Gb/s card


Some tests I performed:

I did a Nperf in safe mode with network support, the speed remains the same as in normal mode

I removed the generic Windows driver to install the Intel driver from the driver pack 26.6 but it didn't change anything.

I did a network reset in the network settings but it didn't change anything...

Do you know where my problem might come from?

CPU: Intel i7 3770K
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z77
Graphics card: Sapphire Rx 5700 Xt Nitro+
Memory: Corsair Dominator 16Go 2400Mhz
Power supply: Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid 1050W
AIO kit: Corsair H115i
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500Go and 850 Evo Pro 256Go
Freebox Revolution + RJ45 CAT5.E cable of less than 20 meters

    Hello.
    For this network card, Intel has not developed a driver for Windows 10, which may explain this, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/52963/intel-82579v-gigabit-ethernet-phy/downloads.html
    Change your network card for a newer one see this example.
    See the driver for this card, it's the one I currently have and I'm with Free like you, and here is the speed with Nperf with a Freebox POP:

      Thank you for your response.
      I was also thinking that Intel didn't necessarily update my driver for Windows 10 :/
      I will immediately order the card you advised me.

    I'm experiencing the same problem and similar performance on different internet speed test sites.
    I tried a generic card with the RTL8125 network card for €20 on Amazon.
    Impossible to start my PC, even after checking the BIOS and activating PCIe!
    On another setup, it started, but there was an anomaly with the devices, and I couldn't find the right driver!!!
    Returned the card to Amazon...
    I bought a USB 2.5GHz key, same performance!!!
    One has to wonder if it's due to an internal throttling on the motherboard or BIOS?
