Hello everyone,
I have a 64-bit Windows 10
I would like Chrome to be in the following path: C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
and not in C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
Could someone please let me know how to do that?
Thank you all!

Hello,
I don’t see the advantage or the change this would represent for your current version of Chrome. I haven’t installed Chrome, but if it’s installed by default in Program Files (x86), it’s a 32-bit version. You could uninstall it, and if the option is provided upon reinstalling, switch to Programs.
Otherwise, you would need to look for the 64-bit version, if it exists for your version of Windows, on the publisher's website (Google).-
Hello,
I installed Chrome where it asked me by default, Program Files (x86), but I don't think I did so in 32 bits, and anyway the official site (Google) doesn't give the option.
Program Files doesn't exist on Windows 64; I believe that the installation defaults to x86 if it's 64 bits and to Program Files if it's 32.
Personal data is stored in AppData and not in the Programs folders, which indeed undermines the point of customizing the installation, for example for data backup purposes.
