Is this software from the publisher Atheros essential for the proper functioning of my computer, or can I uninstall it without any issues?

    it must be the Wi-Fi card configuration software.
    if it manages the network, leave it; if it's Windows, you can delete it.
    don't delete the driver at the same time as the software.
