Hello,
The built-in webcam on my HP EliteDisplay E243m 23.6'' Full HD LED monitor isn't working. I didn't need it until today. I'm running Windows 10, and unfortunately, the only way to connect my monitor to my computer is via Display Port to Display Port. My computer has no other options apart from USB.
I believe I've read online that I need to connect another cable for my camera to become functional, but I can't find out what else to do. Can someone please help me?

Hello
Have you connected the USB cable between your PC and the monitor?
The webcam does not go through the video cable, but USB.
The official HP documentation seems to overlook the webcam.
See you later

If my answer helped you: a quick thank you is nice. If it's resolved: the green button at the top is better ;-)
Let those who have never opened a user manual throw the first mouse.
