Hello,
how many pages do 150,000 characters and 700,000 characters represent?
Thank you very much and have a nice day

In Word, on a page filled with neutral text (lorem ipsum...) in Calibri 12, with all margins at 2.5 cm, there are 3146 characters. If that works for you as a reference, all that's left is to do the rule of three... ;-)

Otherwise, you can find another option on this page (not completely contradictory, rather complementary)...

Hello
Sorry, but your question doesn't make much sense...

Giving the number of "pages" based on a number of "characters"?!?
By characters, do you mean individual characters?
If I put one character per page, at least 150,000 pages :-)

Seriously, you need to provide us with more details about your request. And for what purpose do you want this "estimate."

The number of pages is not a "unit" of measurement... And if you're in a word processor, it depends on the paper (A4?), margins, font size, etc.

You see, we're in a tricky situation.

A+
If my answer helped you: a little thank you is nice. If it's resolved: the green button at the top is better ;-)

Let him who has never opened a user manual throw me the first mouse.

In fact, you didn't help anyone with your old moralistic answer there, anonymous user. Forums are meant for helping each other, not to scold someone, especially if in the end you don't help the person find an answer. I completely understood their question: how many pages are we asked when we're told to do 150,000 characters, and if we don't have more details to give, it's because teachers usually don't provide much more information.

In addition to being bad faith, you don't even read the question correctly. The margin was specified, as well as the font and size. The term "sign" is used frequently; if you don't know it, it's not our fault. Your ignorance is nobody's problem. Knowing the purpose of the question is absolutely useless, and it's obvious that only an approximate answer is expected. In short, a hasty answer full of misplaced pride given the lack of concentration during reading.
