Unable to free up space on Thomson laptop

Hello,
I am using a Thonson NEO4SWH laptop as a backup, and I cannot free up space on the C drive of 28 Go. The drive is full.
I have cleared out folders, photos, music, and programs onto a 500 Go external drive with 171 Go free, and I have deleted cookies and site data. No space has been freed; C remains at 28 Go.
I tried to upload a 9 Go file to the 500 Go drive, indicating that the download would be made to the external drive.
What should I do?

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 93.0

    Hello
    1) Try to clear the two TEMP folders on your machine
    -
    %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Temp

    -
    C:\Windows\Temp

Open them, press "Ctrl+A" to Select All and "Delete", some busy files will be denied, no worries.

    2) Clean your Disk
Right-click on the disk, Properties, "Disk Cleanup", "Clean up system files", check everything and OK

    3) If you have 4GB of RAM or more, disable Virtual Memory.
Settings, at the bottom "About", on the right "Advanced system settings", in Performance -> "Settings", Advanced tab, in "Virtual Memory" -> "Change", uncheck Automatic management and check No paging file, then Set.

    Regularly, you can use:
Settings, System, Storage, click on "Temporary files", wait, check all boxes, then click the "Delete files" button.

    See you later
