Hello,
I have a paper jam issue with my black laser printer, model "MFC-L2720 DW". The first half of the sheet comes out fine, but the second half is wrinkled. When it comes to double-sided printing, the machine stops at the first sheet with the wrinkled half and shows a message saying there’s a double-sided jam and that I need to remove the double-sided tray and clear the jammed paper. Generally, there is no jammed paper; it’s just that the wrinkling of the paper halfway through causes the printing on the back side not to happen. Can you tell us why this issue occurs and how to resolve it, please?
I want to specify that this does not happen every time, but sometimes there are several hours during which I cannot print, and then suddenly it works fine, for no apparent reason.
I look forward to your assistance.
Thank you.
Joël

Hello and thank you for your quick response!!
So, the paper I use is 80 g laser paper, I regularly use the printer with this paper, it worked well before but for the past few months there has been this problem with warped paper, which prevents me from printing double-sided as the machine throws an error, and when it's just printed on one side, I can't hand the printed sheet to a third party because half of the sheet is really very wavy.
It's not systematic; sometimes it goes well all day and the next day it works randomly.
The room temperature is around twenty degrees and the paper is stored wrapped in the same room. So I don’t understand the problem.
I haven't been able to print with the rear cover open; the printer asks me to close it when I request the print
Thank you very much in any case, if someone has other ideas I'm all ears!!!

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem as you but with the MFC-L2750DW.
How did you solve this issue?
Thank you
Hello,
The situation is generally due to the clogging or wear of the drive rollers.
On an entry-level Laser model, I had the problem recently; it's not worth fighting over, especially if it's old, we replace it and move on.
Here we are dealing with a more expensive semi-professional model; we could try to clean it or contact Brother customer service to replace the rollers.
