Hello,
When I turn on my PC running Windows 10 Home, on the homepage where I am prompted to enter my password, an account that does not exist consistently appears but is required to open my session. And invariably the system informs me that this account cannot proceed.
A long time ago, I mistakenly tried to open another account, but without finalizing the action, thinking I had canceled it. However, it appears that some traces remain, causing the small issue described above. I have tried to eliminate it via account management, but in vain...
Any idea on how to neutralize the intruder please? (see attached illustration)
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 94.0.4606.81

I am always impressed by the speed of your responses.
Responses that, moreover, are effective. Not being contrary but always a bit skeptical about my way of interpreting your advice, I apply it before getting back to you. And once again, I achieve the desired result; the infamous ghost account that had been bothering me for quite some time has indeed disappeared from my view, thanks to the suggested trick.

Age is a heavy burden to bear, and I kind of derailed there... ;=))
