    295? The model seems incomplete.
    Does it have only one handset?

    At first glance...
    Unplug everything from the base, remove the batteries from the handset(s).
    After a good minute, reconnect the base, power supply, and phone line.
    Put the batteries back in place (pay attention to the polarity).
