Hello,
my laptop has been slowing down more and more for some time now.
It’s not brand new, but it’s not that old either.
And until recently, it was fine.
I do try to run CCleaner regularly, and I sort through my startup panel, but there are more and more things I don’t recognize, which are supposed to be useful.
Anyway, if anyone can help me.

Hi
to see what’s running on your PC, do this and post the reports
download FRST from (Fabar) to your desktop --> click here
PS: make sure to take the one that corresponds to your PC (32 or 64 bits) --> click here
run it as administrator (right click)
at the end of the scan, the FRST and ADDITION reports will appear on your desktop and in C:\FRST\LOG
post the reports via cjoint --> click here
see you later

Good evening, and thank you for this quick response.
Here are the reports:

do you have Avast free or paid?

free, but well, I don't remember when I installed it, initially it seemed to me that I had decided to stick with the Windows tools (light as protection, for sure, but in the past I had more problems with software incompatibilities than with viruses).
I'm not even sure it was me who installed it, after all, I "don't live alone on this computer." So if it needs to be removed, I won't be sad about it!
Before, I would create an admin account with a really strong password, and an internet account with very few permissions for everyday use. It protected against quite a few things, but since Windows 8 I don't know how to do it anymore. -
re
ok, uninstall Avast using its uninstallation tool --> Avastclear --> click here
also update Ccleaner (version 5.85) and you have 5.84
I continue reading the reports

re
you also have 1 leftover Mcafee --> McAfee® Central for HP -> C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\2703103D.McAfeeCentral_5.0.177.1_x64__4ehj4w4frejdr [2018-04-02] (.-McAfee Inc-.)
uninstall it via programs and features in the control panel

Good evening again,
and thanks for the help
it's done.
By the way, while uninstalling McAfee, I see that I still have an Avast Secure Line VPN. Should I get rid of that too? -

You can, but I've included everything in the script that I'm going to finalize

Good evening,
I still have one page that won't open on Firefox, but otherwise I've restored normal speed.
For the page, it opens on Edge, so it's nothing serious.
Thank you -
hi
ok, do this:
right-click on FRST and rename it to uninstall.exe
right-click on uninstall.exe, and choose "run as administrator"
the pc will need to restart to complete the uninstallation of FRST
