Hello, first of all, I would like to apologize if I’m not in the right category.

I own a Princeton television, and for the past few days (overnight), it has stopped recognizing my remote control (which is working fine normally; I can see the purple beams with my phone).
I've already tried changing the batteries... I would like to know if you have any idea what the issue could be, and if so, how to fix it!

Thank you very much!

Best regards.

    Hello,
    Supposition...
It could very well be the infrared receiver located on the front of the television...
It would be better to get an estimate from a repair technician to know the exact cause...
I assume this television is no longer under warranty.

I'm getting back to you; I noticed something while continuing my research on the internet. When I press a button on the remote while looking with the phone, I should only get a single color detection, right? Instead, it gives me a constant blinking that doesn’t stop. Is the problem coming from there? A broken button that's stuck or something like that?

Okay, thanks anyway, I'll check with a repairman in that case!
