Hello everyone,
I've been struggling for hours with someone remotely: we need to play a video from a (new) USB stick on a EPSON H849B projector. I have prepared the video file and can re-export/encode it if necessary.
The projector: EPSON H849B
USB stick format: FAT 32
USB stick capacity: 16 Gb
I will spare you my export settings for now; I'm more curious to know your approaches or how you would tackle this to make it work on the first try... or just to make it work at all... because right now, the file browser displays on the beamer and finds the video file on the USB stick, but shows "No file" once we try to launch the file, making it impossible to read. I've tried different conversions of the video file, but none of them work.
Thank you in advance for your valuable feedback!

Hello,
Try converting your USB drive to EXFAT, then put your video file on it!

Thank you for the suggestion, I haven't had the chance to test this option; we gave up using the USB drive after numerous attempts at different exports and conversions, without success. The best solution we found is to use a media player/Raspberry Pi case (it was not possible to use a laptop for the project).
I conclude that one should absolutely avoid trying to play a video on a projector from a USB drive; this is the second time I've tried, and it makes the project very complicated, it's a false economy.
