Good evening, I purchased a Courrèges La fille de l'air perfume and a set of bag perfumes from the same brand; there is no scent... it’s supposed to be an eau de parfum, it smells even less than a supermarket eau de toilette. €50 for an obvious counterfeit!!! This is unacceptable. I wrote to customer service, I’m waiting for their response...

The customer service is going to mess with you.. The sad series of counterfeits continues despite the 'promises' (Bags, watches, scarves, perfume, etc..)

You can report this to Customs.. And to the Brand who will certainly appreciate it!!

If it is showroomprive, it is very unlikely that it concerns counterfeit goods.

This site, like other leaders in the field, has been under the scrutiny of the DGCCRF for years for inflating reference prices and thus creating false discounts, but there is no doubt that during this investigation they would have uncovered any potential scam.

Moreover, there are so many similar complaints that, given the quantity, there would certainly have been a customer to file a complaint and the DGCCRF would have taken action to impose penalties, which is not found anywhere.

It is more likely, as in the case reported to us, that we suffer the effects of this commercial policy: in almost all cases, these concerns unsold items that are more or less old from second-rate brands.

In these conditions, one might reasonably assume that a product that was already not great at the outset has been further compromised by its age, the temperature at which it has been stored...

This phenomenon has been ongoing for years.. After investigations, some suspicious products have turned out to be genuine counterfeits (Watches, jewelry, clothing, shoes, perfume, etc..).

SRP is a Marketplace where the only responsible party would be the Seller (who furthermore ships the merchandise..).

The General Terms and Conditions specify:

The Seller assumes full responsibility for the Products they sell through the
Marketplace and will handle any claims related to the Products themselves. SHOWROOMPRIVE shall therefore not be held responsible for any disputes related to the Sale of Products on the Marketplace,
except in the case of proven fault on its part. Thus, the Member releases SHOWROOMPRIVE from any
liability that may arise in the execution of the sale, particularly regarding the
compliance of Products, the compliance of the sales offer, compliance of after-sales service, the ownership of intellectual and industrial property rights related to the Products.


SRP simply serves to 'showcase' the products and carry out payment operations.. For the rest (customer service..) it is more than minimal with an active practice of obfuscation..

Among the multitude of sellers, some ship counterfeit products..

During customer reports, it is unclear whether the fraudulent seller is immediately excluded from the platform.. Total mystery.. To expedite the process, it is recommended to contact DDPP93 or Customs..

The dissemination of counterfeits also affects other Marketplaces (e.g. CDiscount..).
