Hello,
I am a student who recently took exams (resits) and I received a report. Let me explain the situation. The test starts around 2 PM and I finish around 2:24 PM. Since it's on a tablet, I click on "finish," log out of my university account, and close the tablet. Once I click "finish," I can no longer modify my answers. As I still had an hour left and could not leave the room, I decided to read a book (a classic of English literature) and then a teacher arrives and tells me that I'm not allowed to do that. He checks the book and tells me to put it away. Ultimately, he decides to take my name and then, nothing more. I decide to talk to the other teacher present and then, bam, he tells me that I've received a report. Total panic, nobody told me anything, I had to go see the teacher who informed me. I had no intention of cheating or committing fraud; it was a huge mistake on my part, but I really did not understand that I was not allowed to do that. I am anxious and stressed; I looked online and I could face serious consequences, including being banned from taking exams for 5 years. Can someone help me understand how this report will proceed and how I can defend myself as best I can? I haven't signed anything and they did not confiscate the book in question (PS: I was in health).
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
Can someone help me understand how this trial will go
It's on a case-by-case basis, so how do you expect us to know the outcome?
The technocrats, if we gave them the Sahara, in 5 years they'd have to buy sand elsewhere.

Sorry! But your matter is strictly not within our purview...
We can only advise you to put all of this down in writing and send your request by registered mail to the academic rector and/or the university president, with a copy to the Ministry.
