Hello!
I am in the second year of high school and my teacher gave me a report and put me in detention for an hour. I would like to know if it will appear on Parcoursup and if it could disadvantage me for entering certain schools?
Thank you in advance!

Yes, of course; otherwise, what would be the point?

Hello
1 hour of detention no!
But this report on top? It's not very common, and I suppose the mistake was serious; so he can indeed face consequences: it all depends on the content (the intent) of this report.

Thank you for your response!
The motive is an insult towards him, and I'm not sure if he submitted a report, but the school counselor told me that he had written a report about the incident.

Hello,

If an institution becomes aware of inappropriate behavior, including unacceptable insults, it is obviously a very negative point, especially in programs that involve close relationships with other students (tutorials and practical work, small groups like in preparatory classes) or rely on fundamental public relations (striking examples include the hospitality and catering industries, tourism...).

However, even if this behavior is mentioned in a school report, Parcoursup only takes it into account from the first year of high school.

If a sanction is imposed and recorded in the administrative file, it is removed from the file by the end of the school year n+1, even at a fairly high level (responsibility measure), whereas the Parcoursup file will only be created in n+2.

This should obviously not constitute a legal loophole to wash away the fault in order to "do better" next time; the first step is to ask the victim of the insults in question to accept an apology for their unjustifiable behavior.
