Solved

Hello,

I want to remove the selection that is locked so I can't edit my document. I then decided to look online and it says to go to options, but when I click on the "option" button, it doesn't work. What can I do?
Here is the link:

Thank you in advance

Hello,

I confirm what Raymond says:
"Disable automatic selection" (the title of your link) has nothing to do with "Remove the locked selection".

The provided link just explains how to avoid selecting a whole word...

Can you be clearer about your problem?

I cannot make a change on my page and the menu bar + the toolbar are disabled. The same goes for Excel and everything related to Office

Hello,

Have you activated your version?
It looks like an unactivated Office. In that case, we can no longer edit the documents, just read them.

No, I didn't activate the Office version, but I can't do it via the internet, and I don't want to do it by phone number.

This link does not correspond at all to your problem ...

How did you manage to lock your selection?

I don't know how I did it, but the link is to unlock "the selection" but I can't press the option button.
