Is BundleInstaller uTorrent dangerous?

Hello.  I would like to know if BundleInstaller uTorrent is dangerous or not.  Windows Defender, which is the default antivirus on Windows, alerted me that it is a potentially unwanted application and I am worried.  I searched on a web page about what kind of file it is, and of course, it says that it could cause certain problems.  The file's behavior is low.  Here are the issues that may affect my PC:  - Slow connection. - Applications take too long to execute. - The computer keeps crashing. - Your friends receive spam from you on social networks. - You see a new extension that you did not install on your Chrome browser. - The internet connection is slower than usual. - The fan on your computer starts running even when your computer is idle. - You now see a lot of pop-up ads. - You receive antivirus notifications.  Of course, I can hear the fans starting to speed up little by little.  I noticed that it is simply the executable application of uTorrent in the AppData.  But I am not really sure. Hi,  A Bundle Installer often offers deals to install software, which should be refused of course.  You often find this in program installers that also provide advertising offers to make money.  Dangerous, not really, a waste of time to clean everything up if you accidentally accept an offer, yes.

uTorrent, on the other hand, can start up at boot when you absolutely don't need it and can be difficult to disable, that's what I hold against it.    You can disable or remove the automatic startups of third-party elements (Non-Microsoft) by unchecking them or deleting them with a right-click > Delete in the "Logon" and "Scheduled Tasks" sections of Autoruns launched as an administrator.  Check your services in the "Services" section, but do not disable them if they are sometimes useful; it's better to set them to "Manual" mode (to start if needed) with services.msc from Windows, by right-clicking the Start button > Run  Restart Windows for the changes to take effect.    You can check your PC with RegRun Reanimator (English, Free)  You can use both options: > Fix Malware Issues > Deep Scan  Select the bad ones and delete them, then Next > Until Reboot  You need to restart Windows for the changes to take effect.  But be careful what you delete; it may detect legitimate and important files or drivers.  You can search for the file names on Google to find clues.  If you're unsure, analyze the files with VirusTotal Uploader by right-clicking > Send To > Virustotal  Note: Not for Scheduled Tasks files; they are there to start other files, so they are not infections themselves, but the targets may be. A torrent manager is potentially dangerous by nature, both because it opens ports to all winds and, of course, what is typically downloaded is not meant to be safe. Moreover, they are not very discreet and are under the theoretical wrath of Hadopi at least.  Bundles also come with the near guarantee of invasive ads and often malware.  In short, everyone does what they want; risks are taken in both cases, but if you're going to do it, you might as well limit yourself to the first.
