Hello,
I recently moved, and being engaged with SFR, they are offering me a fiber package via their latest box, the 8.
On top of that, I want to play a game with a friend online, but this game does not have a native multiplayer mode and we use a mode that works via UDP connection on a specific port. (For those who might be interested, it’s the Nitrox mode on Subnautica)
I was able to set up the connection in my previous place, on a THD box with coaxial connection, but with the 8, it’s impossible; nothing works.
To date, I have configured port triggering and port forwarding, in both TCP and UDP on my box, including in IPv6, just in case, and I have manually added open exceptions on my Windows firewall for this specific port as well. And despite all that, it’s not working; it’s incomprehensible to me.
I have obviously contacted SFR for any clarification, but they do not officially offer any help for personal subnet configurations....
Does anyone have any idea about the problem?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
you should provide more details, but for IPv6, there's no port forwarding required, just possibly open the firewall and assign a static address to the server if you have one.
How did you configure it on the cable box?
Do you have a static IP on your PC?
Which side is the server on?
