Télévision Tucson pas de réception chaînes DTV

Hello,
I have a Tucson television connected to a rooftop antenna. I receive HD channels perfectly, but not the DTV channels (such as 2 and 3). The automatic search detects them, but when I select them, I get no signal. I can't find any particular settings to be able to pick up this type of channel. Is it an antenna problem? Or is the television incompatible with this type of channel?
Thank you for your answers

Configuration: Android / Chrome 90.0.4430.210

Good evening,
DTV = Digital TV (digital) as opposed to ATV (analog)
Currently, all channels are in DTV and HD
Try to unplug everything: HDMI cables, antenna, and power supply, wait five minutes, and plug everything back in.
If that doesn't work and if you have access to the menu, perform a "reset" or "factory reset" or "initial setup" (see menu) but you will have to redo the entire installation and settings.
And don't forget to specify the country: France

No, whether analog or digital, an antenna is a wave collector
"I still don't have the DTV channels, but I perfectly receive the HD channels"
Once again all HD channels are DTV channels
However, there may be different transmitters in your area; which channels are you not receiving?

It is indeed a preamplifier that must be quite old since it offers the VHF band (40 to 230 MHz), which hasn't been used for ages... what is near the wall is the power supply that sends power to the mast preamplifier via the coaxial cable.
Your issue may therefore stem from interference with a mobile phone transmitter and this preamplifier is not LTE-filtered.
Start by checking the coaxial connectors, unplugging and replugging them several times to eliminate any possible oxidation, and if necessary, redo them properly. Be careful, even the slightest "hair" from the braid touching the copper core can mess things up...
The antenna could also have moved...
The HD TNT is more demanding in terms of both quantity and quality of signal.
If there's still no result, it would be best to replace it with an adjustable mast amplifier (sometimes too much amplification can degrade the signal), and this preamplifier must be LTE/4G filtered.
Here is a good product, for example:

There are not two preamps...
There is a preamp next to the antenna and its power supply near the outlet
What I propose replaces the two elements:
- preamp next to the antenna
- Power supply near the outlet that sends power to the preamp through the coaxial cable and distributes the signal as needed to two TVs.

Hello and thank you for the response.
It still doesn't work. What I did was position the antenna towards the transmitter (using the Ma TNT app), then I did as you said, which is to unplug everything from the TV, then plug it all back in, and I performed a factory reset of the receiver.
I still don't have DTV channels, but I do have HD channels perfectly. It's still strange. Either the Ma TNT app is not showing the correct orientation, or my antenna is not suitable. This is a temporary residence, and the antenna is located in the attic. Back in the analog days, the antenna should have been fine, but with digital, have antennas changed?

Hello,
Okay, all HD channels are DTV channels, but why is it that when I list the channels, I have a column on the right with an HD in front of channels that are received without issues, and a DTV in front of channels that have issues?
It's mainly the public channels France 2, France 3, France 4, for example, but there are a few others. Not the majority, fortunately. The common characteristic is always that DTV is marked in the right column, and not HD....
I found a website that lists potential issues in a particular region. I asked if there was a problem in my area (Morbihan), but no, everything is fine. And my neighbors aren’t complaining, but they either have a box or satellite.
I did notice that in the house, there are 2 boxes, one behind the antenna, and the other next to the socket coming out of the wall. They seem to be amplifiers. The one next to the antenna is a UHF wideband amplifier. It has 2 inputs, one marked 40 to 230 MHz, and the other 470 to 860 MHz. The cable is connected to the second one (470 to 860).
Downstairs, the other amplifier is plugged in electrically, and if I unplug it, I have no reception. I haven't tried to bypass them yet. What do you think? Thanks anyway for your help.

Ok, thanks. So I understand correctly. Between the antenna and the television, there are 2 preamps. The first one is next to the antenna, the one that offers the VHF band, and the second one is next to the TV socket and is connected to the power supply.
The preamp you are suggesting replaces which one of the two? The one next to the TV, I assume. But what do I do with the one next to the antenna? Do I just remove it completely?

Ok, thanks. I will order the device, I will make the replacement. I will keep you updated. Thanks again for your help.

You were right, it was indeed the amplifier that needed to be changed. I didn't need to change the power supply. I got one that filters 5G, why not. I'm now perfectly receiving all the channels.
Thanks again

But you're welcome, and happy for you, but are you sure that this power supply provides the same voltage? In principle, 24 volts
