Hello,
I ordered an item on eBay without knowing where it would be shipped from.
I think it is in Orly this morning even though the TNT tracking doesn't mention it yet, but my question concerns French law.
Even though I paid less than €100 for the item with free shipping despite 2800 km, will I have to pay customs fees if it is delivered to my door as agreed?

customs fees are a surprise, as not all packages are checked by customs, but if yours was, you will have to pay customs fees to retrieve your package. Having worked a few years in the logistics field, I can tell you that this happens much more often than you think.

Yes, I contacted him to confirm that the purchased product was not only for a Lenovo PC, and he explained to me that it was standard but the reference is indeed the one I expected.
I was just concerned about an unplanned extra fee, but I don't think there will be one since the country in question is a EU member.

And where the problem lies is that from Dublin, the package went to Pudong, so there was an error by the office that was supposed to direct the package to France...

But when it's through Amazon and a purchase came from Austria, I didn't get anything extra. Is that normal?
