Procreate Colorization Issue

Hello everyone,
I’ve been having a problem with the coloring in Procreate for a while now, and I can’t seem to find a solution... Here’s my issue: when I outline a shape and fill it using the coloring tool, the whole shape isn’t being filled and there’s always a border of the shape! This forces me to go over it again and therefore costs me time...
I hope you can understand my problem and find a solution. Thank you in advance.
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 14.0.3

Hello Marie,
Yes, that’s normal; this outline is due to the threshold of tolerance in the fill. To put it simply, when you draw a shape, the edges of your shape contain slightly different colored pixels (more or less transparent) to achieve a "smooth" rendering (that's anti-aliasing). It can also depend on the brushes used. So Procreate may decide whether or not to color these pixels based on the chosen threshold of tolerance.
To adjust this threshold, just hold down the stylus (or your finger) while filling. You will then see a blue bar displayed at the top. Simply move the stylus left or right to adjust the threshold (without lifting the pencil tip).
Here’s a video that will explain this more visually:
