Presentation of the issue
The background of geometric shapes, text boxes, and drawings inserted in Microsoft Office software can be filled with several types of fill: solid, with patterns, with images or textures, gradient.
The question was raised (on 25/06/13 by rochachana regarding PowerPoint) about sharing the object in two distinct colors without gradient. Even a bit unusual, this request deserves to be addressed.
And ultimately, there is an extremely simple and quick manipulation:
Procedure
Carried out with MS Office 2010, it is easy to transpose to other versions.
* Select Shape Format
- Right-click on the object
- Select Fill/Gradient Fill/Angle:
- 0% if you want a vertical separation
- 90% for a horizontal separation
- In Gradient Stops, drag the left and right sliders until they overlap with the center slider (the spinner Position must indicate between 49% and 51% each time).
Observations
- If you leave the last option of the window checked, these colors will rotate at the same time as the shape (with the green ball).

- All your comments, suggestions, and proposals for additives will be welcome.
