What are approved Instagram followers?

Hello,
I have a question about a private Instagram account; who can see our stories?
When I look it up, it says that approved followers can see them, but are approved followers the accounts we subscribe to, or are they the people who subscribe to us?
Another thing
When using a tablet, can we create a story on Instagram through Google? Thank you.

    When you have a private account, only the people who follow you can see it. 

     Can you create a story from a tablet when you open Instagram from Google?


    What's Google got to do with it??
