Hello,
Here’s what I usually reply on this subject:
When it comes to applications, manufacturers and distributors do what they want. Personally, I have an LG, and at the beginning, I had an Orange app that provided access to lots of radios, which was removed without warning during an update. For replay, I had Pluzz (public replay service) and Arte +7, both of which have also disappeared. As for MyTF1, I only have the paid VOD, and on the M6 replay site, they ask me to download a "player," but "download impossible." It's all a matter of agreements with the app owners and the TV brand, a money issue, so not so smart, these TVs, huh? ...;-(
And Arte came back a while ago... go figure...
And:
"Smart TVs connected to the internet also generally offer access to applications (sometimes also called 'Widgets'). Currently, the applications offered vary depending on the brand and the TV, and within the same brand, some applications may only be accessible on certain models."
