Unable to create an Among Us account

Hello,
I installed the game Among Us on my iPad, and since then, they have released an update. You need to create an account, or you can play as a guest. When I click on "Sign In", a popup appears, telling me:
Unable to create an account
Your Apple ID cannot be used to create accounts on other apps.
