Force the change of cartridge Canon Maxify MB2150.

Two of my cartridges in my Canon Maxify MB2150 are almost empty, but the printer never tells me to change them. Once, I found a technique to do it but I didn't keep the procedure. What a regret!!!
Can someone help me please?

You need to unplug the printer and then open the front cover.
Next, move the carriage by pulling it to the left to bring the cartridge in front of the ejection rail.
Then, slide your finger behind the soft tab and flip down the small lever that holds the cartridge.

Having followed the given instructions, I unplugged my printer but I can't move the rail to the left in order to change the cartridge.
