Help to download Captvty

Hello,

Suddenly, I can’t use Captvty anymore, so I uninstalled it from my PC. Now, I can’t reinstall it.
Here’s my procedure:
- Official Captvty site and click on "Download (zip archive)"
- Save the file then Ok. Download completed.
- In the "Downloads" folder: captvty-2.9.2.1 (folder "tools" ...). Before I could see more, my antivirus indicates there’s a Trojan and the zip folder disappears.

What can I do to download Captvty or another software that allows watching and downloading TV programs?

Download the self-extracting version and if the antivirus deletes it, make an exception

Thank you for the quick response, and yes, it is indeed the same site.

- Click on "Download (self-extracting)"
- Save the file. Download complete.
- Click on the folder "The sender could not be verified..."
- Click on "Run".
- New window "Welcome to the Captvty extraction wizard..."
- Click on Ok
- "In which folder do you want to extract the files?" I choose and click Ok.
- The window "Extraction in progress: 14%" + a window "Captvty extraction wizard: error" with the message "Could not create file "C:\Users\.......\" Access denied.

According to the site, you need: Captvty.exe, Captvty.exe.config, and tools. Captvty.exe is missing to launch the program.

Have you tried right-clicking and running as administrator?

Oh no, to be honest, I don't know much about computers and I'm a bit hesitant to do anything reckless. Do I need to download the zip file, right-click it, and then click on Administrator?

Right-click on the self-extracting file you downloaded, then click on "Run as administrator."

Leave the default path, it should install on the desktop.

With the self-extracting file: the error message.
With the zip file: no time to click because of the antivirus and the Trojan horse.
