Hello and thank you for your potential help. I have a radio that only works if the red and yellow wires are together. Even when reversing the colors, it does not light up. Is there a risk? Thank you

Thank you for your response. I noticed that the red wire on the ISO doesn't correspond to anything in the car; should I unsolder it from the yellow? And connect it directly to the battery? Thank you.

No, I'm talking about the after contact; I soldered it to the yellow 12V permanent, otherwise it won't turn on.
