Hello, I need to recover data from the drive of my Mac A1466
The disk reference is SD6PQ4M-128G-1021, but I can't find out what the format of this drive is to find an adaptable enclosure for data recovery. From my research, it seems to be an mSATA, but I'm not sure about that
Please help.

Hello
This is a MacBook Air A1466, the SSD has a long form:
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b&ei=AipTYLDuMIqsUuSEi9gJ&q=SD6PQ4M-128G-1021+mac+a1466
An example from the page above, the SSD connector has 12+6 pins but the year also seems to matter when choosing the adapter (here in card form for the year 2010/2011): not suitable because your SSD has 12+16 pins and the brand Sandisk (for the software)
https://www.amazon.fr/KALEA-INFORMATIQUE-Adaptateur-MACBOOK-broches-A1369/dp/B00AZLBCV0
12+16 pins are used in Macs after 2013 according to this link, but it's not guaranteed.
The following link will be suitable ONLY for MacBook SSDs with 12+16 pins but can ONLY be read on an M2 port for PCIe SSD of type AHCI or NVMe.
https://www.amazon.fr/KALEA-INFORMATIQUE-%C2%A9-Adaptateur-MACBOOK-broches/dp/B018KEWJ38/ref=bmx_2?pd_rd_w=WUifX&pf_rd_p=b79ef107-ca80-4694-87b8-18b2c3d7a556&pf_rd_r=BKXD40TZRZPG6FWKFPZ9&pd_rd_r=3fedb619-b0b6-4d40-84ea-d24deee8c3eb&pd_rd_wg=vx2i6&pd_rd_i=B018KEWJ38&psc=1
So you still need to figure out what you want to connect it to and also keep in mind that you should have software for the Sandisk brand. Good luck...-
Thank you, I need a 12+16 pin one; unfortunately, the only one I’ve found so far is €80... it’s the only one I find with a USB output....

Thank you for this information,
I found a box on AliExpress that could do the trick,
https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005001346928360.html?src=google&albch=shopping&acnt=248-630-5778&isdl=y&slnk=&plac=&mtctp=&albbt=Google_7_shopping&aff_platform=google&aff_short_key=UneMJZVf&albagn=888888&isSmbAutoCall=false&needSmbHouyi=false&albcp=11446264977&albag=108768739141&trgt=896707260454&crea=fr1005001346928360&netw=u&device=c&albpg=896707260454&albpd=fr1005001346928360&gclid=CjwKCAjw9MuCBhBUEiwAbDZ-7j_z1TsHuz7Qnq9gfpTRCc1qnryIhI8cuAEMl7saD_UVkxKiPuMUzBoCNiMQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
It seems to be exactly what I need, but if I could get a little confirmation on that and at the same time know, since you mentioned the Sandisk software for accessing the data, whether I necessarily need to connect it to a Mac or not to recover the data.
Thank you
Edit: I also found this one that I could connect via PCI on my tower:

Thank you, my pins look a lot like the mSATA but my card is way bigger which worries me if I need to buy a case to see if I'll have enough space inside
are we sure it's not another format of disk since it comes from Apple Mac..?-
A screenshot of your mSATA SSD would be appreciated. Measure its length. I only know this model. Then it's SATA (larger size).
Thank you.- According to the provided photo, it is indeed mSATA. The model looks strangely similar to the one used in MacBook Air...
