Hello, I just built my first PC, but there's already a problem. I acquired Corsair Vengeance at 3000MHz, but it only runs at 2666MHz. I’ve looked everywhere online and tried different methods (XMP-XMP2), but nothing works. When I restart the PC after selecting the correct frequency in the BIOS, the PC won’t boot and stays on a black screen. After trying everything, my RAM remains at 2666MHz; it's a nightmare. Please help me.

Motherboard: Asus TUF B460
CPU: i5 10400F
GPU: GTX 1660 Super
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz C15

Your motherboard doesn't allow overclocking. You need to check the maximum frequency of the RAM it can support. It's 2933MHz at most, provided you have a 10th generation i7 or i9. The memory controllers integrated in i5 or lower can only handle a maximum of 2666MHz. So with your configuration, don't expect to exceed that value.
