Hello,
I have a question and I hope you can help me (thank you in advance)
I've had my PS4 for about 3 years, it's connected to my livebox (Orange) via wifi, but I wanted to connect it with a cable
My livebox is not next to my PS4 but I have an Ethernet socket in my room
The problem is that when I plug my cable into my PS4, it crashes my decoder for my TV and my livebox indicates a connection problem with the Orange network
I hope you have solutions

It’s strange that the cable crashes the TV decoder and not the Livebox.
Either the Ethernet cable is defective or the Ethernet socket has an issue.
Try changing the Ethernet cable first to see if that resolves the problem.
Can't you connect your PS4 via Ethernet to the Livebox?
Try moving your PS4 closer to the Livebox and connect the Ethernet cable to see if it crashes your TV decoder or not, just for testing. If you connect your PS4 to the Livebox and the TV decoder doesn't crash, you'll know where the problem is coming from.
