Hello,
I was playing on Ethernet on my PS4 when suddenly my connection stopped. I immediately ran an internet connection test via LAN cable, but my console no longer recognizes it. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, but nothing works. I then tried to connect via cable using my PS3 and my PC, both of which have a LAN port, giving me three cables with my PS4. The result: none are recognized, so the problem cannot be with my cables. I live in a private residence with 90 apartments where internet is shared, and each room has at least one ADSL and Ethernet socket. The concierge who manages the residence tells me that the problem does not come from the internet connection here, as I would be the only one experiencing this issue. I don't know if I should believe him...
I can connect via Wi-Fi, but what's strange is that when I reach the PS4 menu, the error code NW-31291-6 (network connection impossible) appears, a code that may relate to a problem connecting via Wi-Fi, but I can do it with my mobile...so I don't understand. One small detail, I’ve had this LAN cable issue since I got a 4G Box from Bouygues, but I couldn’t connect to the internet via my PS4 with the box, so I gave up. I mention this because I'm wondering if all these issues are related to the 4G box.
Do you have any idea what my problem might be please? Thank you in advance^^

Hi,
Well, just try another RJ45 cable and confirm your statements. Either by trying a cable from a neighbor, being in a residence helps to find one. Or by buying one, it doesn’t cost much.
See you later

Thank you for your response. However, I bought a new RJ45 cable, but it hasn't changed anything with my problem. I have 4 RJ45 cables, and no matter how I swap them between my 2 consoles and PC, they are still not detected. The concierge told me that I'm the only one having internet issues in my residence. He says my wall jack must be broken. How can I tell if my Ethernet jack is broken? In any case, it still clips in, and my first disconnection before this problem happened while I was playing online; I hadn't touched the cable for a while. I don't know what to think anymore. What should I do, please? Any ideas?
