Remove Windows 10 Antimalware Service

Hello,

I've watched several tutorials on the subject but it doesn't solve my problem.

I have a service that I can't remove from my PC on Windows 10, the antimalware executable service.

Firstly, when I right-click on it from the task manager, it says "access denied." Windows is incredible at implanting things in the PC that we can't access.

Then, I have indeed disabled the service via modifying the registry key, so it's no longer using the CPU, but it's still using 5 to 6% of my RAM, and I find that a bit crazy.

So, please, how can I completely disable this service, or even remove it, so that it doesn't use any resources from my PC anymore?

Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

The real key to disabling Microsoft Defender is this one:

(Although you can also go through gpedit.msc with the Pro or Enterprise version)

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender]
    "DisableAntiSpyware"=dword:00000001

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Policy Manager]

If you have Windows Home, you can activate gpedit.msc with a tutorial

If desired, you can disable it in Autoruns, but it's complicated if you also disable the firewall; you need to turn off automatic updates for apps from the Microsoft Store because without the firewall, it's doomed; the Microsoft Store removes them and fails to reinstall them.

    MpsSvc - Windows Firewall
    SecurityHealthService
    Sense - Windows Defender Service
WdNisSvc - Windows Defender Antivirus NIS Service
    WinDefend
    wscsvc - Security Center

    There are also scheduled tasks.

These are not the only services I disable in Windows, but it's already a good step forward.

    Hello,

Great idea to look for ways to open the door to all kinds of viruses

      Hello,
As for the integrity of my system, I’ll take care of that.
What I would like to know is how to get permission to remove this service from my PC, not whether it’s dangerous, recommended, or if my PC is up to date????

Hi, it's really not recommended as jag72 said, but if you really want to do it... download this software HERE, run it, then click on disable. WARNING, YOUR COMPUTER WILL BE WITHOUT PROTECTION AND THEREFORE LESS SECURE. AT YOUR OWN RISK

Lol I know it's possible without downloading software. Why does everyone here always ask to download a program or send their PC logs????
