Hello, can't find the PCI Data Acquisition driver. Solved

Question

Hello, following a Windows 10 update, I have a sound issue.
I checked in the Device Manager,
Data Acquisition PCI and Signal Processing Controller do not have the driver installed and no driver available...

Hello,  when you say 'no driver available'  Have you initiated a search to update the driver?  And it seems to me that Windows always keeps at least the previous driver to roll back to the old one in case of issues.  Otherwise, by manually searching for drivers  that is to say from a location on the disk, you need to choose the folder C:\Windows\System32 and the search will start, and generally, Windows finds and installs the driver.

1) download 7zip to your desktop --> click here

run it as administrator (right-click) to install

2) Download this driver --> click here
and place it in your documents.

Right-click on --> Intel-FORCED-DPTF-10x64-8.7.10401.16510-drp.zip
Select --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to "Intel-FORCED-DPTF-10x64-8.7.10401.16510-drp\"

Go to Device Manager.
Right-click on the device --> PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller
Update driver
Browse my computer ......
Choose from a list of drivers...
Have disk
Browse
Go to your documents
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> Intel-FORCED-DPTF-10x64-8.7.10401.16510-drp
Folder --> Intel
Folder --> FORCED
Folder --> DPTF
Folder --> 10x64
Folder --> 8.7.10401.16510
Select the file --> dptf_cpu.inf and OK
Restart

after restarting the pc, let me know what happens

If that doesn't work, try this one --> Intel

Right-click on the driver --> DPTF_Intel_.......zip
Select --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to "DPTF_Intel_.......\"

Go to Device Manager
Right-click on the device
Update driver
Browse my computer for drivers
Choose from a list of drivers...
Have Disk
Browse
Go to the extracted driver folder --> DPTF_Intel_......
Folder --> Bin
Select the file --> Dptf.inf and OK.
Restart.

Hi, so I reinstalled Windows 10 and followed the second solution you proposed, but the sound issue still persists. If I connect a speaker with the jack cable, there’s no sound problem. I’m going to try another installation of Windows using a USB stick and the media creation tool; maybe the problem comes from the built-in speakers. This issue started after a Windows update. Thank you for everything, and I’ll let you know if I find a solution.

After trying the second solution and the problem still existed, I tried several sites regarding drivers, I did some updates, maybe made some mistakes, so I'm attempting to reinstall Windows with MediaControl. Yes, problem with the Bluetooth controller, it's new!!! I'm retrying the Windows reinstallation and I will check the device manager. After trying all the proposed solutions, the sound is still bad… like an echo and that happens as soon as Cortana opens during the installation. Thank you.

Yes, so after all these updates, I conclude that my Asus laptop cannot have proper sound with the built-in SonicMaster speakers... still strange, all this after an update with Windows, I will plug in a speaker with the jack cable and that will do.
