Hello,
I have a 256GB external SSD formatted FAT32 Basic MBR connected to the USB2 port of the FreeBox POP.
This drive is not detected via the website http://mafreebox.freebox.fr
I contacted Free who told me they only support external drives sold by Free...
My drive works without issue on Windows, so I would think there is a problem with the FreeBox Pop.
Thank you for giving me your opinion.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 87.0.4280.141

Hello,
did you connect it to the TV box or the internet box?

a hello, a reply, a thank you are always appreciated. -
I plugged it into the internet box, the Freebox internet
Not into the TV player
Thanks if you have any idea.-
There was an update for the Freebox POP yesterday, restart your Freebox Internet box and once it has restarted and been updated, check if your hard drive is present in http://mafreebox.freebox.fr by going to "file explorer"; if it is not there, click on "Freebox Settings," go to the "Advanced mode" tab, click on "Disk," and see if it is present.

No change after reboot of the box.
Still not detected.
Nothing in the file explorer.
I am still in advanced mode...
My disk is intact, still OK on Windows where I can add files.
Thank you for your help. -
Hello! For the pop, I believe you should connect it directly to the box, but I'm not sure. In what format is your disk formatted?

it's the same whether it's from a Wi-Fi repeater or not! Right?
If it's the Free repeater, yes.
To see if your hard drive is working, go to your TV menu, install VLC, open VLC, and you should normally be able to access your hard drive.
On my Freebox POP, I have no problem; the external hard drive works perfectly, it's formatted in NTFS. As a consolation, check this page.
Have a good evening.
