Hello,
I have a problem with my Acer laptop; it turns out that the "CTRL + C" shortcut is not working anymore. I immediately thought that the "CTRL" key was malfunctioning or the "C" key, but both work since I can still type "C" and the shortcuts "CTRL + V", "CTRL + X", or even "CTRL + A" work. I also noticed that I can't do the "/" with the shortcut "SHIFT + :". I tried restarting, but it didn't change anything; however, I can perform this shortcut using "right-click" and "copy", but as a web developer, I can't afford to do that; I need speed! I can also use these shortcuts with an external keyboard, but I can't always carry my external keyboard around.

Thank you in advance for your help,
I am running on Windows 10 with an Acer Aspire Switch 10 32Bits

    Hello,

    Press Windows + R
    type cmd and OK.

Press CTRL + C in the window
if you get a line break, then CTRL + C is working.

At this point, it's a problem only with copying.
Maybe you changed the keyboard shortcut with a software.

      Hi,

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately it doesn't work on my end,
it doesn't skip a line to go to the one above :/
For your information, I even tried closing all programs (even those in the notification bar) and disconnecting from the internet, but it doesn't change anything, I also checked the registry, but I didn't see anything particular.

      Thanks anyway.

Your PC is quite sick because there's no need to type cmd.exe, cmd is enough

Ctrl + C in the command prompt does not return to a line above, but below ..

Yes, I apologize, I made a mistake. I realized that there was no need to put the ".exe" extension. Afterwards, I even modified my post.
I also apologize for saying "above" inadvertently; I meant to say "below." But in any case, that doesn't help me progress on my CTRL issue.
