Hello everyone and best wishes for health, etc...
I would like to transform family VHS tapes into digital format. To do this, I have connected a Pinnacle 500 USB device to a VCR. I installed Pinnacle V15 software on Windows 10. I am able to record videos coming from the VCR, but only in black and white and without sound. I have "searched" the software menus without finding a way to fix these issues. Could you please help me? Thank you in advance.

Hello
Most often, this phenomenon comes from the "us" NTSC type instead of the "eu" which is PAL.
There are several PAL formats depending on the country, I can't remember them all, but you should check your software and settings, as there seems to be no adjustment on the device (which I don't know).
So the acquisition should in principle be done in PAL (type?), so let's see where this setting is located depending on the software used.
best regards
