Free Pop Wi-Fi Repeater over Powerline via Ethernet

A small 5-port switch like that could be powered by POE, but 150m of trenching is a bit much, I mean, I’m all for cabling, but that’s a bit excessive.
Especially for connecting a smart home gadget.
Otherwise, fiber is also a good option, especially if the lands are different; it’s essential if we don’t want everything to fry during the first storm.

150 m is too long for the cable (100 max) and, unless I'm mistaken, for the domestic powerline adapter as well.

Thank you also for the suggestion of the Wi-Fi bridge; I wasn't aware of the existence of this type of device and I will consider it if I can't manage my DIY project.
An old version of the Free plug costs €15 and the Free repeater is in the same price range, so I should be able to manage pretty well.
My idea is to get a Free Pop repeater because it allows you to keep the same Wi-Fi network as the one at home, and since I'm not an IT expert, I find it quite easy to use.

Yes, I use that daily on my personal and professional laptop, it costs a maximum of €20 and avoid the low-end ones, they are worthless.
Either USBC => Ethernet, or USBC => Multi USB + Ethernet, if you don't need it, go for the first one. It's often the connectivity cable that is crap.

80m is still a lot for powerline adapters; usually, we count on a maximum of 15/20m.
I thought there were no powerline adapters for the freebox pop.
Are you sure the USB-C is not just reserved for powering the box?
Moreover, a USB port doesn't necessarily handle data.
On a simple power supply (like a phone charger), only current passes through.
Additionally, for a USB adapter, it needs to be connected to a master USB for it to work; I'm not sure a freeplug is a master USB.

The new generation Devolo Magic2 uses G.hn technology which according to them allows for greater range if you were on the limit.

I would like to add that my use at over 50m was with CPL 1200 Devolo, with no issues.
Since then I've been using the Magic 2, it works even better in terms of stability, also tested at over 50 m, so I'm sure I could go over 100 m without any problem.
If your room is approximately 80 meters away, I would go with that; if you have the budget, a Magic 2 is not cheap.
Also, be careful, the "source" Devolo connected to your box must be on the same electrical circuit (same distribution board) as the one that supplies power to your room, otherwise there will be no CPL.
