Logitech Z906 hookup on a laptop PC

Hello, I wanted to know how to connect Logitech Z906 to my laptop (Asus TUF 505 du-al155t)?
I was thinking of connecting them with an RCA male cable and a 3.5mm male jack, the RCA on the bass tube (all satellite speakers are connected to the subwoofer) and the jack to the PC... would that work?

Yes that would work. Unfortunately you’ll have to stick with stereo. It’s a pity because this Logitech is pretty well equipped in terms of connections, coaxial and optical, and even the multichannel jacks used on PC motherboards.
But with this laptop you don’t really have a choice.

Hi Alu, In principle, by activating the 3D function, stereo sound is distributed to all speakers, but it isn’t true 5.1 at that moment. It's the equivalent of PRO-LOGIC and PRO-LOGIC II on older receivers and old home cinema systems. Best regards and good continuation ;-)

Hi STARGATE43,
Indeed I suspected that you could simulate 5.1 on all the speakers; this function exists on plenty of 5.1 systems and home cinema receivers.
Thanks for the info on the PRO LOGIC function, I knew about it in passing but had never taken the time to understand exactly what it referred to (I’ve stuck to stereo hi-fi, no home cinema at my place...).
