Connecting a Logitech Z506 5.1 Speaker System

Hello everyone, I would like to know if the two cables, black and orange, are not a problem if I don't connect them to my PC? Because I'm missing those two jack plugs behind my computer. If they need to be connected, which sound cards would you recommend that can be installed on the Gigabyte Z97P-D3 ATX 1150 motherboard? Thank you all.

      Hi, thanks for your help, it’s nice. ;) My graphics card is the Nvidia GeForce 650 Ti 2GB, the problem is that it takes up both slots for the sound card and it's plugged into PCIe x16. Can I put it into PCIe x4? If so, will it change anything for the quality or performance? Thanks.
