Hello,
I would like step-by-step guidance to recreate a physical reader sharing setup on a PC. The current configuration was unstable and no longer works. The two PCs are connected to the network via WIFI. The router is available for file sharing. Thank you in advance for your valuable help.

For either one, follow step by step, otherwise nothing will work. -
The two PCs must be on the same local network, either by RJ45 with the box or by Wi-Fi.

@pascaloumimiIf the two PCs are connected to each other, the RJ45 cable must be a crossover type (not very common).
The simplest is to connect the two PCs to the box with straight-type RJ45 cables (the most common). -

Hello, I opted for the 2 PCs plugged into the BBOX.
I have a message that appears but I can't show you the screenshot I took... I can see the computer on the other side in the explorer. But Windows security asks for network authentication that I don't know...-
Again:
to access a network share, you must create the same user account on both PCs with the same name and password and assign NTFS permissions (Security tab of the folder, not the share) to that user account.
So it’s your own account, but of course you need to have one, and with a non-empty password.
