Special characters Vivobook

Hello,

I am currently the owner of an Asus Vivobook.
I would like to know how to type special characters since I don’t have the digits on the right side of my keyboard, but only at the top, under the F keys.
For example: Alt+161 doesn’t work because you must use the right-hand digits for it to work.
I tried locking Caps Lock and then pressing Alt + the top-row digits, but that doesn’t work.
Could you help?

        Hi to you too,

        We can’t except:
        - when it exists and is functional, it depends on the PCs, using the Fn+Alt+character key combination
        - go through the character map
        - go through a key remapping utility, which is a nightmare to set up
        - buy a numeric keypad or an external USB keyboard, one or the other around €10

        Hello, I have an USB numeric keypad but it doesn't work despite everything, is my computer the Asus Flipbook 14?

        Hello,

        It's curious.

        And with a full external USB keyboard? That's what I use, although for my part the laptop's built-in keyboard has a separate numeric keypad, which doesn't cause any trouble for typing special characters.
